Being as I am having a word drought at the moment I thought I’d give you a couple of pics

My new PJ’s: cute huh?

New haircut (okay, I did this a few weeks back. Was waiting for a less lifeless photo of myself to post, but I suppose this give you the idea)

These guys I spotted at a fairly major intersection in Joburg, happily foraging for scraps I presume folks throw out of their car windows. That there are rats at the intersection didn’t surprise me, just that they were white rats – I thought those were domesticated, didn’t think you would find them ‘in the wild’, so were these two fellows some kids pets at a time?

Excuse the quality, all three pics taken with cellphone…

So that’s it for now. I’m working on something big I hope to tell you guys about on Monday, after that I’m hoping my blog-block with dislodge.

There are all kinds of animals that used to be pets roaming around Miami. We have iguanas (not native to south florida) roaming around our island. They show up on the dock, in the middle of the street, etc, there is currently a pair of foxes wrecking havoc around the island on trash day. We also get some crazy gorgeous birds in our palm trees right out the window. (some native, some escaped amazonian pets) I would bet those white rats escaped a lab.
